Available Therapies & Services

20-20-2 - This is a new service I just added to help many of you. The 20-20-2 is designed just to help people overcome some of the daily stress we encounter. It's a very simple 20 minute treatment, using only two points, and costs only $20, thus the 20-20-2 name.

Acupuncture - Traditional Chinese Medicine views the body as an intricate system of organs connected by all the major and collateral blood vessels. Good health depends upon the smooth flow of Qi (oxygen) and blood, through the vessels. When this flow is blocked or disrupted, pain, dysfunction and illness results.

Acupuncture restores the smooth flow of Qi and blood by inserting fine, hair-like needles at specific points along specific channels associated with the blood vessels. As the flow returns to normal, health and well-being are gradually restored. Acupuncture needles are ultra-thin and flexible, thereby permitting virtually painless insertion. Treatments last from 20 - 30 minutes. Patients describe the sessions as pleasant and relaxing. (Our clinic uses only sterile disposable needles that are properly discarded after each treatment, eliminating the possibility of contamination and disease transmission.)

Chinese Herbal Medicine - For thousands of years, Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners have studied and employed a vast array of medicinal herbs for their healing properties. Western pharmacology is beginning to acknowledge these natural counterparts that lack the side effects of processed pharmaceuticals. Our therapeutic herbs all have been proven safe and effective through centuries of use.

Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners almost always prescribe herbs in conjunction with acupuncture and other treatments. Herbs are extremely effective in unblocking the flow of blood and fortifying internal organs. Practitioners design herbal formulas specifically for the individual needs of the patient. Even with the same diagnosis, it is unlikely that two patients will receive the same herbal prescriptions.

Auricular Medicine - Masdfaskldflsasdflkajsdflajsd;fljasdfkhasdlkfjasdf;lkjasfljasdf;lkjasdfasdkfjkas;dfljkasdf;alskdjfasldfjka;sldfjka;sldkfja;sldkfjas;lfjasl;dfkjas;dlfkjas;ldfkjas;ldfikajw;elkfjawelfnaw;eflkajsd;iasdcvjslfjnaw;lekrjaw;eliujasdlkfjas;elrkawejr;alsifuas;ldkfjawef

Medical Qigong - Medical Qigong is a holistic system of self-healing and treatment of exercise and meditation that has been passed down from generation to generation in China. It translate as "working with one's life energy." It is an ancient, evolving practice that includes healing postures, movement, self-massage, breathing techniques, and meditation. The goal of Qigong practice is to regulate the Qi and blood in a manner analogous to breathing. A Medical Qigong practitioner uses bio-energy to help a person instead of the person doing it themselves, and either used as it's own modality or in conjunction with acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine.

Nuritional Guidance - Nutrition is an important element in your overall treatment protocol. Your practitioner will devise a specific diet according to your conditions and Traditional Chinese Medicine nutrition principles. You may also be advised on how to incorporate herbs within your daily diet.

Anma Massage - Massage comes in many styles and forms. It is commonly used in conjunction with acupuncture and herbology. Your practitioner may use some massage in your treatment to futher enhance blood flow and increase your session's therapeutic value.

Anma is a very unique form of massage that truly approaches the core issues you are having, unlike deep tissue, etc. Anma uses no oils, and can be done through clothes or on bare skin.

Cupping - Cupping involves the use of glass globes to apply vacuum suction to the skin. It increases blood circulation and is very useful for muscle injuries, joint pain, headaches, acute bronchial congestion, and even the common cold. There will be a temporary color change to the skin, and even possibly temporary bruising, but shouldn't be done too hard to be painful or cause massive bruising.

Mei Zen ~ Cosmetic Acupuncture - Mei Zen is a form of cosmetic acupuncture that not only relieves fine lines in the face, and improves the overall tone to the face, but it also has the side benefit of improving overall health. It works by increasing the blood flow to the face, which helps in the formation of collagen in the skin tissue, and keeping the cells healthy and strong.
